2019

As 2019 draws to a close, I find myself taking more time to reflect upon the events of the past year. As always, BAP is forever close to my heart. In March, I went to Europe for the first time to attend the Bang Yongguk EU Tour. I went to 6 different cities on my trip; Paris, Madrid, London, Cologne, Budapest and Copenhagen. It was an amazing time, I had the opportunity to meet so many baby mutuals.

In addition to the trip, I was also attending classes at college and enjoyed it. I was looking forward to completing my associates degree in liberal arts and possibly transferring to my dream college, the University of Utah. My ultimate goal is to transfer and attend the study abroad program in Seoul.

I also attended KCON LA for the first time and was able to attend a private pizza party with Jongup from BAP. It was during this party that I also talked with him one on one and he signed my artwork! It will forever be a cherished memory of mine.

I also spent this past year reconnecting with my family, especially my cousins which has been wonderful. It’s been too long since we last saw one another, and I hope that we continue to keep in touch into the new year.

As the end of the year approaches, I am faced with the biggest challenge of my life time. Recently diagnosed with with a devastating illness, I will start the new year a brand new me. I have shared with close family and friends my diagnosis, and now I share it with you; cancer. I never thought this would happen to me, and it’s been a whirlwind of doctor’s visits that have been nonstop since Thanksgiving. I will be having surgery late January, so I both look forward to and dread the coming of the New Year. These past few days after Christmas have felt like a dream, that I don’t want to wake from. But I will persevere, and keep you all updated on my progress as I continue this fight.
