As part of my preparation for my upcoming chemotherapy I decided to cut my hair short. I was inspired by my favorite anime character, Ichimatsu Kochina from Gugure! Kokkuri San.

My neighbor, Nekisa is a hair stylist and she offered to style my hair. I admit I was so nervous before she arrived that I cried. Cutting my hair made the fact that I am going to get chemotherapy real.

I was sad because my hair was so long. But it’s just hair, right?
